Aeroflow provides Delco and Aspen braces. Both manufacturers are industry-leading providers of quality bracing solutions.
Delco braces offer full back, upper back and lower back support. Spine stabilizing braces provide comfort features and alignment technology to create an effective, pain relieving brace. Delco also strives to make sure that you aren’t physically limited or experience discomfort wearing a brace — wicking material offers breathability so you can stay active while using the brace.
With various product lines and innovative design features such as their ergonomically designed molded pull-tabs, Aspen has a brace for every unique need. Aspen braces are firm but have flexible back panels that naturally conform your back while still providing true structural support. Depending on the style you select, the brace is designed to treat the lower or upper spine. Aspen uses a special tightening system called “SlickTrack” which independently tightens from the top and bottom; this allows the brace to localize compression where needed. Aspen braces can be trimmed, bent and molded to best fit the user.

Back braces provide support to the lower back by aligning your body to the proper position. This keeps pressure off of your spine, which can lessen pain and promote healing.
Back pain is very common. Taking preventative measures early on can be very beneficial down the road, especially if you perform heavy physical labor on a regular basis. Exercise regularly, avoid improper lifting and maintain good posture throughout the day and take every chance you can to prevent strain on the lower back. These simple steps will greatly improve your overall health and prevent pain from flaring up.
Every need is different, so be sure to consult with your physician to set up a time frame for wearing your back brace. Generally, the more pain that you experience, the more often you should be wearing your brace.
It depends on your condition. If you are suffering from general lower back pain, this usually goes away on its own, but symptoms are greatly alleviated through the use of a brace. If you suffer from a chronic pain, or a spinal condition, you will most likely need a brace for a longer amount of time.
Wearing a back brace for long periods of time can cause spinal weakness in some patients. This can be avoided by sticking to a regimen and time frame when wearing your brace to ensure you are getting the proper support at the right times. If you are lifting heavy objects, it is important to maintain proper form to ensure that you do not strain your back — even with your brace on, you should use correct form when performing any heavy lifting.
A knee brace limits the amount of stress that is applied to your joint while walking, and if worn all the time, can lead to the muscles atrophying.
